At Sturgeon Schutzhund we like to run our courses from a range of 3-6 weeks of training. Classes will regularly consist of 4-6 people where each person will get one on one training time with our instructors. We will be conducting classes in a manner so that each dog is brought in separately, that way we are able to optimise focus and learning capabilities. All students will take turns working for 5–15-minute intervals where everyone will get two turns with their dog. When you are not working with an instructor, you will be watching and learning while others work their dogs. Our goal is to try to work outside as much as possible, but we do have a heated indoor building that we reside to when it gets dark and or to cold. Our goal is to create a positive and friendly learning environment where everyone feels comfortable, so we ask that you bring your best social and learning attitude to each class.
